For generations, outdoor recreation has remained financially, culturally, and historically inaccessible for many families. Skiing and snowboarding are often viewed as sports reserved for those who grew up in the mountains, had the financial means, or saw themselves represented in these spaces.

We're changing that.

Roaring Fork Show Up exists because everyone deserves to experience the beauty, confidence, friendships, and healing that come from spending time outdoors.

Whether this is your first day ever touching snow, your first season riding swith on a snowboard, or your fiftieth season on skis, you'll find community here.

About Roaring Fork Show Up

Roaring Fork Show Up is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to outdoor recreation, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and community building for historically underrepresented populations.

While our programming intentionally centers Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities—who have historically faced barriers to participation—we welcome anyone who believes in building a more inclusive outdoor culture.

Our events aren't simply vacations.

They're carefully curated experiences designed to remove the barriers that keep people from participating.

We don't just hand someone a lift ticket.

We build confidence.

We remove uncertainty.

We create friendships. Better yet FAMILY

We cultivate future mentors.

We expose youth and adults to opportunities they may never have imagined for themselves.

This will be their first time seeing snow.

Their first chairlift.

Their first ski lesson.

Their first mountain summit.

Their first hot springs.

Their first snowmobile.

Their first experience realizing...

"I belong here."

That moment changes people. We need these safe spaces for our mental health.

Why This Experience Is Different

Most snowsports retreats require months of planning and thousands of dollars.

Families must separately purchase:
